Internationales Frauen*Theater Festival

The IF*TF invites all women* to submit artistic works and feminist perspectives on the theme "Intersectional Ecofeminism – Performing Sustainability."

Deadline: 30 May 2025.

We are placing a spotlight on intersectional ecofeminist practices—at the intersection of ecology, gender, origin, class, and power. We are seeking artistic approaches that understand sustainability as a performative act and that develop new narratives around peace, care, and resistance.

The goal is to strengthen a feminist culture of peace and to make queer, anti-racist, and decolonial perspectives in the performing arts visible.

The International Frauen* Theatre Festival is part of the Magdalena Project, a dynamic, intercultural network for women* interested in theatre. The focus is on engagement within the performing arts, sharing practical experiences, theatre and dance workshops, and academic research, as well as providing space for discussion and reflection on gender justice.
