Rhiannon is concerned with devising contemporary performance which draws upon the ideals of romanticism; bringing beauty to contemporary performance, as a reaction against contemporary works which seek purely to shock or to create art that is ugly. She is further influenced by aspects of Asian theatre to create performance which incorporates music, art, dance and drama and provides the audience with a sensuous theatrical experience, engaging more than just the intellect.

I'm a director and lighting designer who does a lot of international work. I also serve as the Artistic Director of the Ko Festival of Performance, held each summer on the Amherst College campus in Western Massachusetts, USA. Each year the 5-week Festival is curated on a theme designed to provoke dialogue about an issue or idea that is vital to our times. All pieces are original, devised work, created by the people who come to Ko. We have a long history of supporting the work of women artists. We also offer rehearsal residencies, 6-day intensive workshops and internships.

My name is Samaneh Zandinejad, a theater director from Iran. I bring with me a wealth of experience, having graduated with a master's degree in theater from a reputable university in Iran.

SANDRA KNOLL – ATRIZ/PRODUTORA

Atriz e produtora iniciou seu trabalho teatral em 1990. É graduada em Letras-Literatura pelo Centro de Comunicação da Universidade do Vale do Itajaí- UNIVALI (SC), com monografia sobre os procedimentos contemporâneos da dramaturgia. Atualmente é atriz dos espetáculos Dois Amores e um Bicho (2009) e “Luisa” (2010). Em 2008 iniciou o projeto de pesquisa O espaço em Aberto, o qual que discutia a relação do Ator e o espaço, e que tem sido o vetor de pesquisa e o mote para os dois últimos espetáculos em que atua.
