INTERCULTURAL FESTIVAL LABORATORY
OF THEATRE PRACTICES

from 12nd june to 28th june 2020

FLIPT – Intercultural Festival Laboratory of Theatre Practices, organized by Teatro Potlach in Fara Sabina, directed by Pino Di Buduo, is now in its 20th edition.

A full program for this important edition: seventeen days of workshops, shows and dialogues about the creative exchange between different cultures of performance.

This year the comparison will take place between artists from India, Japan, Denmark, USA, Brazil, Greenland, Ukraine, Hungary, Switzerland and Italy, which will give the festival their own contribution through the sharing of their personal theatrical experience.

From 12nd June to 28th June international pedagogues will conduct workshops on directing and on the core elements of the actor's stage presence in Eastern and Western cultures, in Fara Sabina end neighboring villages.

From 15th to 18th June
Workshop on “Song, Dance and Narrative Techniques in the Indian tradition” with Parvathy Baul (India)

From 12nd to 21st June
Workshop on the construction of the performance “Invisible Cities” with Teatro Potlach

From 22nd to 25th June
Workshop on “The flower of the Commedia” with Claudio De Maglio (Italy)

From 26th to 28th June
Theoretical-practical Master Class “Creation and development of a work in progress” with Eugenio Barba and Julia Varley, Odin Teatret (Denmark)

For 16 participants and 40 observers.

And then:

Others workshops: vocal and physical training with Teatro Potlach, workshop on the perception and thought with Kyle Gillette (USA), workshop on the grotowskian techniques with Kris Salata (Poland/USA), workshop on Bollywood dance with Chintan Pandya (India). 

All the evenings: performances by artists and theatre from all over the world.

Fee: 950,00 (nine hundred and fifty) Euro, including board and lodging in shared rooms.
