Creator of the nomadic arts company madma prod in 2014. This initiative based on creation, production, administration & education revolves around two lines of work:
- create live art & theatre with a gender focus. The company's repertoire counts 4 theatre shows & 1 live art co-creation, all directed by women and presenting female characters that go far and beyond their gender role assignation.
- create theatrical & pedagogical experiences for people who find themselves in vulnerable social conditions. Previous work includes creative & educational processes in
Tolú & Buenaventura (Colombia), 3 Colombian prisons, 2 Ecuatorian prisons, women at risk of coming in contact with the criminal justice system in England, and workshops for 'Dalit' children in India.
Particularly interested in 'unlearning', I've developed my career as a performing artist, teacher & cultural administrator in England, India, Chile, Colombia, México & Ecuador.
