I was born in Rome in 1968. I worked as a police woman in Italy for about seventeen years, in the meanwhile I studied as singer and as actress.
In 2007 I joinend the cast of “Fattoria dei Comici” (“The Comedians’ Farm”), a group directed by Serena Dandini and Claudio Fois, as part of a big project featured by Ambra Jovinelli, a very important theatre in Rome.
After that exeperience I created a few funny characters for the stage which were good also for TV, so later, in 2007, I was called to work in two Italian Tv shows: “Tribbù”, on the national channel RAI2, and “Seven Show” a much-loved and followed TV show on a local channel.
Step by step, as the art was getting stronger in my soul, in 2005 I took the “Master Class” workshop (with Jango Edwards, an actor, comedian and first of all a clown, really wild and out of all tracks, known as a living legend in the world of clowns) which was very decisive for my future and my life.
I fell in love with that new comedy so I decided to leave forever my old, safe, well-paid job to become an artist “with a red nose”.
That was only the start. I chose to live my life and my soul as a clown but I would study and build myself constantly as this is the main rule of this beautiful, funny and hard “game”.
Throughout 2006 in France, I followed courses with Laura Herts, a very good clownesse. I also met Leo Bassi, Johnny Melville and Carlo Colombaioni (very famous clowns) and never stopped to study singing.
Two years later I followed a mime course at the “Mimo corporal dramatic school” in Barcelona where Jango Edwards lives.
While I was there, I called Jango and he agreed to direct my next show, so, in 2008, “Zero Zero Clown” was born. It was performed in Rome, in Barcelona, and the show was included in the show “Very important women” at Almazen theatre.
In an endless training, I studied with Virginia Imaz and many more clown masters.
I joined Jango in some workshops to give to students the “spirit training” of the “New Clown Institute” (N.C.I., Barcelona) through Osho’s meditation. At the same time I created a group composed only by women called "Las Enclownadas", working in a weekly open show with the idea to create the right space for female clowns.
In 2009 I outlined a character that will be my own: Yaya. After a lot of street and theatre performances in Italy and in Spain with my own second solo show: “The Yaya Clown’s adventures”, in 2013, I created my present show, still with Yaya as the star, called “The secret Annexe” (“L’alloggio segreto” in Italian, "La habitacion secreta" in Spanish), based on the Anne Frank’s Diary. It’s a clown show full of poetry and a lot of suggestion for reflection in a light but deep way.
