ÜLFET SEVDİ 2001: Obtention of her diploma from Mersin University’s Fine Art and Theater departement. 2004-08 She has worked in the theater group Boyalı Kuş as a director and a dramaturgist for the following projects: “kadınlar Savaşı”, “Çernobil’den Sesler”, etc. 2006 She has studied with Luciano Iogna, the following techniques: ‘Using Sweet Medicine Teachings in Forum Theatre’, ‘The Wheel of External Manipulators’, and ‘Theatre of the Oppressed Rehearsal Techniques’. 2007-08 She participated in Jana Sanskriti’s Theater of the Oppressed’s festival in Calcutta, India. 2007 She wrote a book called “Drama Uygulama kitabı Küçük Adımlar” for the teaching of drama in schools. It has been published under Sadık Uygun Yayınevleri. 2007 She has participated in the Türkiye – Holland, İstanbul Youth Peace Summit and gave workshops there as well as acting as a facilitator. 2008 She has founded nü.kolektif with Nicolas Royer-Artuso. With the collective, they have presented 4 plays (‘Kız Çıkmaz-ı’, ‘Sürüne Sürüne Erkek Olmak’, ‘Sorgu’, and ‘Bildiğin Gibi Değil’) that she wrote and directed, a lot of concerts, and some workshops. June 2009, She has participated in workshops in Croatia at the 13th Theater of the Oppressed Festival in Pula. She has studied there with Augusto Boal ‘the Aesthetic of the oppressed’, with Pascal Guyot ‘Comedia Dell Arte Technique and forum theatre’ and with Muriel Naessens ‘Women Issues’. June 2009, At the 14th Theater of the Oppressed Festival in Pula she has studies with Barbaras Santos ‘the Rainbow of desire’, with Adrian Jackson ‘The art of the jocker’, with Roberto Mazini ‘Cops in the head’ and with Iwan Brioc ‘Proprioception’ 2008 She wrote several articles for a cultural magazine. Since 2008, she has been working voluntarily with Mor Çatı. 2009 She gave a workshop for TRT Ankara using the techniques of the theater of the oppressed. September 3rd 2009, She helped as a facilitator for the week of peace Project ‘Sokakta ki Şiddet’ that was perform in the Nazım Hikmet cultural center. November 25th 2009, She has directed a workshop on the subject ‘Violence and women’ for ‘the day against violence against women’ in the Şafaköy’s Halkevi using techniques from the theater of the oppressed. 2009-2010 She gave a seminar with Psychologist Doc. Ayla Dönmez on behavioural science at Marmara University. Since 2007, she is part of the workshops that are given for kids with problem in schools or in life with Psychologist Doc. Ayla Dönmez and Nicolas Royer-Artuso where they are using a combinaison of art techniques to help those kids analyse beter their own life.
