For me, dedicating my life to art has been an enlightening and enriching experience. My work is committed to human beings and constantly seeks to inspire others to be part of the solutions to create a better world that protects its citizens and promotes respect for human rights.
My personal mission is to create messages that elicit emotion and the decision to act through theater, film, and music. If we are able to move and transform audiences, then we truly are paving a path towards a more equitable world.
The future is the result of every action we take. The present is our responsibility.
History tends to give us the ideal stage to play on. It's up to us to avoid choosing the wrong one.
As an independent artist, my goal has always been to bring subjects to the stage that are committed to being the voice of the discriminated, of the victims of violence, and of themes that are committed to human beings. I believe that theater possesses a powerful force to move the audience and ensure that it becomes active in promoting activities that are aimed at humanity’s welfare in a much more inclusive and non-violent world.
My aim is to encourage protecting the rights of women, children, and freedom of expression and information, as well as victims of racism, discrimination, and abuse of power.
To be a Latin American female artist in a country that is not your own has been very challenging. The most challenging aspect may be to cross cultural barriers and attract new audiences. My training with recognized teachers from the international scene and the constant search for new learning opportunities and collaborations, has been fundamental in my growth as an artist and human beings.
