An artist-researcher, born in Machala-Ecuador, she lived in Chile for several years and then migrated to France for studies. He completed his initial training in Hispanic Studies at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Studies on the Americas (IPEAT), a Master in Social, Cultural and Historical Anthropology and a Master of Dramatic Writing and Stage Creation at the Jean-UniversityJaurès de Toulouse-France. At the same time, he continued his theatrical and artistic training by performing several practices and workshops in Toulouse and elsewhere; in particular, training Professional Actor in the Present Theatre Le Ring with Michel Mathieu (2016- 2017) and with the company Les Anachroniques, as an actress and assistant director. He remains a member of the company’s board of directors.She is also a self-taught author and playwright, publishing two works Racines Flottantes (2017) and Psychoanalysis of a chimera in Zahara de los atunes, the latter together with the collective Chimeras. She is currently working on a doctoral research project focused on the dramatization and dramatization of the voices of migrant women in France. He also experiences dramaturgy, direction and research-creation in various collective theatrical creation projects using the practice of creative writing and ethnographic research methods. In parallel, supporting her creative thesis process, Gabriela has developed a space of encounter and reflection that has driven together with other women and migrant dissidents of the city of Toulouse called Labo SAYWA- Laboratory of practices, identities, bodies and borders. She is director of the company " Racines Flottantes, Raices Flottantes, Floating Roots" of the artistic group Quasi collectif and carries out her artistic experimentations in a creative space with other artists called " La salle Bête" in Toulouse.
